I am deeply grateful to serve as my party’s nominee for Congress in the November general election, and I am honored by your confidence in my ability to serve the interests of Northern West Virginia. Please know that I, more than anyone, fully understand that I couldn’t have done this without your extraordinary help.
Serving the people of West Virginia is a duty that I see as a calling. I have lived my entire life in West Virginia. I was born and raised here, educated here and am proud to have established a business in Northern West Virginia. I love our state.
As our campaign moves forward, we will utilize this Web site to outline what we see as major topics of this campaign and the issues that affect our day-to-day lives in Northern West Virginia. From jobs to healthcare and energy to education, I have worked for the past two full decades on matters that touch people every day.
I am a full-time businessman, a U.S. Army veteran and I’ve been a West Virginia State Senator for the past 16 years, following two years as a member of the House of Delegates. As a congressman, I pledge to you that I would seek every day to represent the values of Northern West Virginians.
I began this run for Congress because I believe that the work I have accomplished in the West Virginia Legislature and in the United States Army, combined with my experience as a businessman in our district, have prepared me to be our congressional representative. Thank you again for your support, and I ask for your vote in the November General Election.
